Gallery

The original work chosen from each of the Festivals’ Featured Artists has been installed in the Mill Avenue District’s gallery, which exhibits the most recent featured artists’ works from the fall and spring festivals. The gallery is located in the offices of Downtown Tempe Community, Inc. at 310 South Mill Avenue, Suite A-201 in downtown Tempe. Gallery hours: M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Artists Awards
The Tempe Festival of the Arts is a juried show for admission to the Festival. In addition, awards are juried (by a different group of jurors) and are presented during the Artists Awards Dinner, Presented by APS on Saturday night during the Festival.

Awards jurors circulate throughout the Festival on Saturday to make their choices for the best of each of 14 categories, and for APS Best of Show. Jurors consider three criteria when choosing awards.

3. Quality of Technique

Both Entry and Awards Jurors are chosen based upon expertise, experience, and background in the arts. Jury members change for each festival, and within each function.
