Volunteers
More than 500 volunteers are needed to ensure that the Tempe Festival of the Arts runs smoothly, maintaining only the highest levels of quality and guest satisfaction.

Festival volunteers work a variety of three-hour shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, including the following opportunities:
EVENT AMBASSADOR: Greet patrons as they enter the event and pass out programs.
CLEAN UP & RECYCLING: Help make the event a cleaner place while strolling throughout the festival grounds.
SODA BOOTHS: Sell sodas to thirsty patrons while raising money for participating charities.
ARTIST CHECK-IN: Meet the artists and assist them with check-in. (This is only available on the Thursday before the event from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
BOOTH SITTER: Assist with communication between staff and artists, and watch over booths while artists take a 10-15 minute break.

Non-Profit Partners Program
This event is a non-profit event and we do not allow other non-partners to participate unless there is a mutual benefit to the event and the non-profit.
An example of our non-profit partners is our Volunteer program, where we select up to 3 organizations to provide clean up, booth sitters, soda sales, ambassadors, etc. These groups provide onsite management of their volunteers and are rewarded with a donation to their cause.
If you have an idea or suggestion of a benefit for your organization and the event, we would be interested.
Each organization will have a contract that is unique to their participation. We cannot allow any organizations that do not meet the event mission or goals.
Charitable organizations interested in providing volunteers and submitting applications to receive proceeds, send a written letter including contact information, the purpose of the organization, and use of the proposed funding to the following address:
