Information for Exhibiting Artists
The application for the Fall 2022 festival is open now through August 15, 2022. APPLY HERE.
The Tempe Festival of the Arts accepts artists’ applications exclusively through Zapplication (www.zapplication.org). The service is free and easy: go to the Zapp website and follow the instructions for creating your own account. Once you have done that, you’ll receive all of Zapp’s notices for shows throughout the country, including the Tempe Festival of the Arts. Create your account now and apply before the deadline.
Approximately 350 fine artists and crafters display and sell their original works amid this street festival atmosphere throughout Downtown Tempe. Coming from throughout the country, and even internationally, festival artists’ original works cover the gamut of creative visual categories from drawing to sculpture to jewelry and more. The Tempe Festival of the Arts features only original works and artists are required to be present to greet festival attendees.
NO BUY/SELL PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS FESTIVAL, and if discovered, booths will be closed and the artist will not be invited back to the festival.

June 1, 2022 - Zapplication opens
August 15, 2022 - Zapplication closes
September 14, 2022 - Invitation status updated in Zapplication
October 3, 2022 - Deadline to Accept Invitation and purchase booth
October 24, 2022 - Booths assignments updated in Zapplication
November 3, 2022 - All final booth payments due
November 3, 2022 - Cancel deadline to receive refund less $75 fee
November 17, 2022 - Cancel deadline to receive 50% refund (no refunds after this date)
December 1, 2022 - Set up day
December 2-4, 2022 - Show dates
